The website does not allow users to upload photos to the website whereby it is hosted by us. Users who post an image in the comments sections of our site must agree that by uploading a photo to be published and be available on our public website for viewing as a comment is not covered by our Privacy Policy and is open and available to the public for viewing and/or possibly saving. You agree not to hold us liable for said media.


If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

Who we share your data with

We do NOT sell your data. Any information that is shared is done so only through secure, encrypted, and automated means as part of our subscription to third party services that provides us with statistical data which is solely intended for improving the performance of the website.

Such services may include Google products (as part of our participation in use of Google Site Kit) such as:

  • Search Console: Helps us understand how Google Search discovers and displays our pages in Google Search. Track how many people saw our site in Search results, and what query they used to search for our site.
  • Analytics: Explore how users navigate our site and track goals we’ve set up for our users to complete.
  • AdSense: Keep track of how much our site is earning us when applicable.
  • PageSpeed Insights: See how our pages perform compared to other real-world sites. It offers us the opportunity to improve performance with actionable tips from PageSpeed Insights.
  • Tag Manager: Use Site Kit to easily set up Tag Manager- no code editing required. Then, manage our tags in Tag Manager.
  • Optimize: We reserve the ability to use Site Kit to easily set up Optimize- without any code editing required. Then, set up A/B tests in Optimize.

We have not, will not, and do not have any intentions to use your data for financial gain. (And, quite honestly, don’t even know how to). 

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

f you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Where we send your data

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service before being posted or if attempting to contact us by email, it may also be checked through an automated system which seeks to filter out SPAM emails.

Generally, site visitor data is processed through third party services used to protect our site from malicious actors, such as those intended to do a DDNS attack, for example. It is not processed or viewed by us for any other intention other than to review IP addresses that may try to gain unauthorized access of our site.

In short, we respect everyone’s individual privacy, whether it be by legal right or our moral obligation. While we have laid out our privacy policy above to the best of our ability to ensure your privacy is protected, we reserve the right to update this policy at any time, with or without notice, for the purpose of meeting any legal obligations brought to our attention, to notify users of changes that may affect their information, or to include information that was otherwise found to be missing. We will not reduce your rights under this Privacy Policy without your explicit consent.
